The IASA-L Listserve, a part of the IASA Internet Center for Thought Exhange, is a means facilitating communication among the members of the International American Studies Association - the only world-wide, independent, non-governmental association for Americanists. Furthering the international exchange of ideas and information among scholars from all nations and various disciplines who study and teach America regionally, hemispherically, nationally, and transnationally, IASA is registered in The Netherlands as a non-profit, international, educational organization with members in more than forty countries around the world. The IASA-L listserve is operated by the Institute of British and American Culture and Literature, University of Silesia, Poland. Correspondence concerning the list ought to be directed to the list administrator, dr. Pawel Jedrzejko. To post a message to all the list members, send email to iasa-l@mailman.us.edu.pl. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to IASA-L
Subscribe to IASA-L by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
